🖋️ The Lioness Journals | November 17, 2025
This month we’ve been exploring what it truly means to Lead with Vision — moving from Deliberate (acting with intention), to Compelling (shaping energy and influence), and now into Visionary (seeing beyond the moment you’re in). Each word has been building toward this one: the moment where clarity, courage, and alignment meet. Because once you understand your intention and how you show up for others, the next natural step is to honor the future that’s calling you — even if it asks you to shift direction.
There are moments in life when your vision grows faster than the environment you’re in. It’s not dramatic, and it’s not emotional — it’s simply truth. You start to feel the shift long before you speak it out loud. At first it’s a whisper… then a nudge… then an undeniable knowing that the horizon calling you forward is bigger than the space you’re currently standing in.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been living inside that knowing.
And letting it teach me.
Sometimes a visionary path asks you to honor the chapter you’ve been in while acknowledging that your influence, your gifts, and your energy are meant to evolve. And when you feel that shift, the most courageous choice is to trust it.
What’s been helping me navigate this transition is something I wrote in Roar Like a Woman — a reminder that being visionary isn’t about having the whole plan. It’s about widening your perspective and giving yourself permission to grow:
“Being visionary takes a shift in mindset. It’s about approaching your life with curiosity and openness, not perfection. It’s about lifting your gaze from the grind of daily tasks and daring to ask: Where do I want this to go? And then, taking action. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need to be willing to ask bold questions, see beyond today, and give yourself grace when the outcome isn’t perfect.
Be visionary in your daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Start seeing your life not just as a series of tasks, but as a living roadmap you are creating. Over time, you’ll start to feel the shift—not just in your perspective, but in your power.”
— Roar Like A Woman, Ronda K. Salazar
Reading these words again — this time from the middle of my own shift — reminded me that the visionary life is not built in a single moment. It’s built in daily choices, small alignments, quiet clarity, and the willingness to see yourself beyond the roles you’re currently filling.
And that’s where I am right now:
Not just seeing the vision — but stepping into it.
Your Reflection for Today
Is there something in your life that is gently pushing you beyond your comfort zone?
Where are you shrinking yourself to fit inside an environment or space that you have outgrown?
— With Gratitude,
Ronda 💛
