The Career Catalyst is a focused 50-minute strategy session followed by a personalized written Career Catalyst Plan. It's designed for two situations:

  • You're stuck. A specific workplace or career challenge is holding you back, and you need perspective and a practical path forward.
  • You're making a move. You're navigating a career transition, especially breaking into construction from another industry, and want strategic guidance on identifying the right roles and approaching your job search.

Career Catalyst provides guidance and strategies. It is not a job-search or placement service.

What to expect

Before we meet, you'll complete a short questionnaire about your situation and goals.

In our 50-minute session, we'll focus on what matters most. If you're facing a workplace or career challenge, we'll get clear on what's really going on and map a practical path forward. If you're navigating a transition, such as entering construction from another field, we'll look at which roles fit your experience and how to approach your search strategically.

Afterward, Ronda prepares your written Career Catalyst Plan: her observations, strategic recommendations and individualized action steps, based on your questionnaire and our conversation. You leave with something concrete to act on.

How do mentoring sessions take place?

Sessions are held virtually via Zoom. After your purchase, you'll receive instructions for scheduling your session and joining the meeting.

How do I schedule my session?

After your purchase, I will be in touch to find a time that works for you.

When will I receive my Career Catalyst Plan?

I prepare your personalized Career Catalyst Plan after your session, drawing on your pre-session questionnaire and the conversation you have together.

Your completed plan will typically be delivered by email as a PDF within 3–5 business days following your session.

What should I prepare before our session?

Come with the situation, decision or goal you'd like to work on. A few notes about the context, the people involved and what you've already tried will help us make the most of our time together.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. Our mentoring conversations are private and confidential. What you share will not be disclosed to others without your permission, except where required by law. Sessions may be transcribed for my personal note-taking and preparation of your follow-up materials. Any transcription will be used solely for these purposes.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Absolutely! I understand that plans sometimes change.

If you need to reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance, and we'll find another time that works for you. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the session being forfeited.

If you change your mind after purchasing, you may request a full refund within 72 hours of purchase, provided your session hasn't already taken place. After that, purchases are nonrefundable.

Our conversations can include mentoring, coaching, problem-solving, and working through challenging professional situations.
