ROAR Hour™ Mini Bootcamp
Exploring How Automation Can Save Time
Presented by Tanya Maslach
Do you find yourself repeating the same administrative tasks over and over again? Chasing invoices, organizing documents, sending the same emails, copying data between spreadsheets, or handling other time-consuming processes?
In this interactive ROAR Hour™ Mini Bootcamp, you'll learn how to identify repetitive tasks that are stealing your time, determine whether they are good candidates for automation, and discover where to begin. No technical experience is required!
This is not a coding class. It's a practical business workshop designed to help you think differently about your everyday work.
During this workshop, you'll:
- Identify repetitive tasks that may be costing you valuable time.
- Learn how to evaluate a process before automating it.
- Map your workflow through both a Time Lens and an Income Lens to uncover the true return on investment.
- Create your own Automation Opportunity Map to identify where automation could have the biggest impact.
- See a real-world automation in action and understand how it works behind the scenes.
As the saying goes, "Garbage In, Garbage Out." The most successful automations begin with well-designed processes and quality information. Before you automate anything, you need to understand the work itself. This workshop will help you organize and improve your process first, making future automation far more effective.
Come prepared to participate, brainstorm, and leave with your own Automation Opportunity Map and practical ideas you can apply immediately.
Session Flow
The first 45 minutes will feature Tanya's interactive Mini Bootcamp, followed by optional open conversation, questions, and networking for attendees who would like to continue connecting and sharing ideas.
The ROAR Hour™is a facilitated virtual meetup for women in construction designed to create space for honest conversation, meaningful connection, career growth, and community among women navigating the realities of the industry together.
Each session includes guided discussion around a featured topic, followed by optional open conversation and networking time in a supportive, low-pressure virtual environment.
This is a facilitated discussion-based virtual meetup, not a formal webinar or training session. Sessions will be hosted via Zoom, and registrants will receive the meeting link through a formal invitation once registration is complete.
Participants are welcome (but never pressured) to engage in conversation, share experiences, ask questions, or simply listen and connect with others in a supportive virtual environment.
