The ROAR Hour | July 9, 2026
Date: July 9, 2026
Time: 8:00pm ET
Have you ever walked into a meeting, jobsite, or conference room and realized you were the only woman there?
For many women in construction, this isn't an occasional experience. It's our everyday reality.
During this session of The ROAR Hour™, we'll have an honest conversation about what it feels like to be the only woman in the room. Together, we'll explore the unspoken pressures, internal questions, and everyday experiences that often accompany working in male-dominated environments.
We'll discuss topics such as confidence, belonging, finding your voice, being underestimated, navigating assumptions, and the unique challenges and opportunities that come with standing out.
Whether you've spent decades in construction or are just beginning your career, this session is designed to create space for meaningful conversation, shared experiences, encouragement, and connection with women who truly understand.
Attendees will receive an optional ROAR Reflection worksheet a few days before the session with guided questions to encourage reflection and spark conversation during our discussion.
Session Flow
The first 45 minutes will include a facilitated discussion around the featured topic, followed by optional open conversation and networking for attendees who would like to continue connecting and sharing experiences.
The ROAR Hour™is a facilitated virtual meetup for women in construction designed to create space for honest conversation, meaningful connection, career growth, and community among women navigating the realities of the industry together.
Each session includes guided discussion around a featured topic, followed by optional open conversation and networking time in a supportive, low-pressure virtual environment.
This is a facilitated discussion-based virtual meetup, not a formal webinar or training session. Sessions will be hosted via Zoom, and registrants will receive the meeting link through a formal invitation once registration is complete.
Participants are welcome (but never pressured) to engage in conversation, share experiences, ask questions, or simply listen and connect with others in a supportive virtual environment.
