The ROAR Hour | September 3, 2026
Date: September 3, 2026
Time: 8:00pm ET
How often have you told yourself, "I'm just not ready yet"?
Many women in construction wait until they feel completely prepared before raising their hand for a new opportunity, applying for a promotion, speaking up in a meeting, or taking on greater responsibility. We tell ourselves that with a little more experience, one more certification, or a little more confidence, we'll finally be ready.
But what if confidence isn't something that comes before the opportunity?
What if it comes because of it?
During this session of The ROAR Hour™, we'll explore why so many women wait for evidence that they're ready, how self-doubt quietly influences our career decisions, and what it means to step forward before we feel completely prepared.
Together, we'll discuss the difference between being qualified and feeling qualified, the hidden cost of waiting for certainty, and how taking intentional risks can build the confidence we're often waiting to feel.
Whether you're early in your career or have decades of experience, this session is designed to create space for meaningful conversation, shared experiences, encouragement, and connection with women who understand the unique challenges of working in construction.
Attendees will receive an optional ROAR Reflection Worksheet a few days before the session with guided questions to encourage reflection and spark conversation during our discussion.
Session Flow
The first 45 minutes will include a facilitated discussion around the featured topic, followed by optional open conversation and networking for attendees who would like to continue connecting and sharing experiences.
The ROAR Hour™is a facilitated virtual meetup for women in construction designed to create space for honest conversation, meaningful connection, career growth, and community among women navigating the realities of the industry together.
Each session includes guided discussion around a featured topic, followed by optional open conversation and networking time in a supportive, low-pressure virtual environment.
This is a facilitated discussion-based virtual meetup, not a formal webinar or training session. Sessions will be hosted via Zoom, and registrants will receive the meeting link through a formal invitation once registration is complete.
Participants are welcome (but never pressured) to engage in conversation, share experiences, ask questions, or simply listen and connect with others in a supportive virtual environment.
