🔥 Roarffirmations | December 30, 2025
When I was a kid, there were two things that I remember I wanted to be.
- A super-famous-bad-a$$ Rock Star
- The first female quarterback in the NFL
Now, let’s be real — my chances of either one of those dreams coming true was slim to none. But, I dreamed anyway. I listened to a lot of Rock music. I followed the headlines of all the infamous singers and their Billboard hits. I watched endless NFL games. Joe Montana in his glory days — he was my crush for years and years and years.
And then I became an adult, and my dreams faded. What I didn’t lose sight of was the desire to leave an impression — to leave behind an inspirational story that others could remember. That’s what I saw in Joe Montana. That’s what I saw in those Rock stars and their music that still invokes memories and emotions in people 20, 30, even 40 years later.
That’s what I realized I wanted. I want to leave behind a legacy that will have an impact on the world for generations to come.
In the Insightful chapter of Roar Like A Woman, I shared a story of standing up for a woman that was being consistently shut down and talked over during meetings. I wasn’t loud or disrespectful about it, but I created a shift. And I sparked a moment that will be remembered long after that meeting ended.
I don’t say this to brag, but to share a point: Being inspirational is about creating ripples of influence — tiny waves that give others courage to step up and become inspirational themselves.
And that’s how I am fulfilling my dream. It’s not about being a famous Rock Star or trending as the first female quarterback in the NFL. It’s about those moments in which your inspirational actions invite courage in others to create their own moments of inspiration.
And that’s the legacy we will all leave behind.
💭 Roarffirmation:
It’s not about being the star of the show,
but about igniting the fire in others—
that’s the legacy of a lioness roar.
— Roar Like A Woman, Ronda. K. Salazar
As you move through the week, I encourage you to look for those moments when your actions are bold, brave and courageous, leaving an imprint on those around you. It doesn’t have to be loud or earth-shattering. Your actions, your kindness, your character — they all create ripples that you may not even notice.
Next time, recognize that subtle shift and then give yourself a smile — that’s your ripple, your legacy. And you should be proud of those moments. ✨
— With Gratitude,
Ronda 💛
